	’98 V-max. I haven’t had it too long so currently it’s pretty much as I got it! I’ve only added the sissy bar and rack and the screen, plus the hand guards (which really work!) Fantastic bikes; should have got one a long time ago!

	First a bit about the 1991 max I own. I got it about 2 years ago off a French student who had crashed it about 3 years previous into a bus and left it for dead in a garden. So due to a long story about a Vmax with french number plates and a flat rear tyre i bought it then the work started It had to be stripped completely including engine and gearbox as it had been run with no oil in and the weather had certainly taken its toll. I learnt a lot while doing it including how to polish alloy its all my own work including the paint. The only thing I didn't do is the seat this is the work of south coast customs in christchurch its been a lot of hard work including the trips my wife made to the local dvla to register it but I'm very happy with results
