Also featured are Eileen Waterworth who got to the semi finals of the veterans sparring despite having a broken arm, an excellent example of Indomitable Spirit, and Robbie Wells who competed despite being ill on the day.

For most of them it was the first time they had been in a competition and with over 200 competitors from all over northern England it was an exciting day..
Everyone enjoyed themselves and three members came back with trophies.
David Powell had an excellent first competition and won gold in heavyweight sparring, Chris Owen won bronze in lightweight sparring and patterns and Robbie Wells won silver in patterns and bronze in sparring
Everyone enjoyed themselves and they are all looking forward to the British championships in April and the Scottish championships in May.
