Confucianism. The 37 movements of the pattern refer to his birthplace on 37°
latitude, the diagram represents ‘scholar’ Pattern Pointers:
Deliver from slightly closed hand from shoulder line. Bring the reaction hand (side fist) in front of shoulder of thrusting hand.
Back fist strike is at a 90° angle, shoulders square on. Reaction hand is inside body line.
