Chon-Ji Tul

Meaning

Heaven & Earth. In the Orient it is interpreted as the creation of the world or the beginning of human history, therefore it is the initial pattern played by the beginner.  It consists of two similar parts, one to represent heaven and the other the Earth.

Pattern Pointers

If pivoting or stepping keep moving foot slightly raised off the floor until the moment of impact.
Sine Wave (Body wave) movement:

As the body moves forward, keep the body at the same height by bending the supporting leg, upon reaching the middle of a walking stance / L stance, raise the body by locking the supporting leg in the last half of the motion.

Low block:

Raise blocking hand to shoulder level from chamber position (naval)

Middle inner forearm block:

Chamber made on chest line, slide hand to elbow.

Nearly all blocks must be executed ‘full power’as if they were an attack.
Continue through a block with body mass without stopping.
No fast / slow / sliding / stamping / connecting / continuous motions.
