What is Tae Kwon-Do? Tae Kwon-Do is the art of self defence that originated in Korea. Tae Kwon-Do focuses on using explosive kicking techniques to disable an attacker, but has a variety of powerful hand and blocking techniques for close range defence as well.
Not just kicking and punching...Tae Kwon-Do will benefit virtually anyone of any age, size or shape.
Who are the G.T.U.K?The G.T.U.K. is the second largest association teaching Tae Kwon-Do in this
country and has an extensive network of clubs in the United Kingdom. The head of the GTUK is Master Roy Oldham (8th degree). He was one of
the first people in the United Kingdom to be awarded his black belt by
Grandmaster Rhee Ki Ha. All GTUK instructors have current CRB checks and constantly update their knowledge of the art by attending technical courses and seminars, and are fully qualified to teach you. The GTUK has a strict child protection policy in place. Click here to visit the GTUK website.
