Engine Saver Bracket

To over come the problem caused by the O ring popping out on the oil delivery system to the engine

 

Measurements provided by Tony M.

 

1.     With bike on Centre stand remove front down pipes.

2.     Remove Sump Bolt and drain the Oil

3.     Remove Sump (12 x M6 bolts)

4.     Remove Oil pick up assembly

 

 

 

5.     Check O ring is not displaced

 

 

 

Locate and remove fixing bolt

 

 

Bolt looks like this

6.     Fit Saver bracket

 

 

 

 

 

Refit bolt torque to 43nm

 

7.     Refit Oil Pick up assembly

 

Check O ring in place

 

 

 

 

8.     Thoroughly remove old sump gasket and clean both faces

9.      Fit new Sump Gasket apply thin film of silicone or grease

10.  Refit Sump bolts

11.  Refit Sump Drain Bolt torque to 43nm

12.  Refill with Oil

13.  Check For leaks

14.  Refit Downpipes
