Rideout to Devils Bridge 25th August 2002

Sunday dawned bright and sunny, we set off from Fylde Superbikes at around 10.15, redf1racer
with pillion, rusty and myself, not a particularly memorable journey because of traffic and poor
road surfaces. A few miles outside Caton we stopped for fuel and was joined by STMP who was
on his way to the Bridge. First stop the lay by at Caton where tea and butties were the order of
the day
.

 Half an hours stop then onto Devils bridge along the way we passed a stationary Police car in a
side road who promptly pulled out followed us and pulled Rusty, cautioned for illegal number
plate and loud exhaust, "don't let me see you again and I also wanted a look at the bike".

Arrived at the Bridge the car park was very full soon spotted Roger (Joker Too) and Tina, then
introduced to Azarl (Roger) and Delvmax.

There were a number of other max riders around and we talked and made ourselves known to them.
Had a check out of the area and all to soon it was time to return looked around but didn't get the
opportunity to say goodbye to Azarl, Delvmax and STMP however it was good to put names to the faces,
the return journey was through quermore and proved to be a faster and more interesting rode from
a motorcycling point of view.

The day on the whole was a little more low key than some of the others but none the less enjoyable
 because of it and good to put some more names to faces.
